Most LA shops refuse Saeco — we do not
Same dynamic as our Breville USP. Parts margins on Saeco are thin and the Philips dealer network has narrowed. We do the work at fair pricing because Saeco owners need a service path.
On-site service for Saeco Royal, Royal OTC, Aulika, Lirika, Xelsis, GranBaristo, and PicoBaristo across Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire, San Diego and Ventura.

Saeco’s removable brew unit is the single biggest design difference vs. Jura. We know what owners can clean themselves and what genuinely needs replacement. We will not charge labor for a job you could do.
Royal Cappuccino, Vienna, Magic and other pre-2015 Saecos are still in LA offices. We carry the legacy parts — most shops have abandoned them.
On a 6-year-old Royal with brew-unit + boiler-element work needed totaling $700+, we will run the math against a $2,400 replacement. Sometimes the rebuild is right; sometimes it is not. We are honest either way.
If we're on a job or it's after hours, this form is the fastest way to get on the schedule. Tell us the machine and what it's doing — we call or text back with a diagnostic estimate and an arrival window.

Saeco is the Italian-Dutch (now Philips-owned) brand that pioneered office and home super-automatics in the 1990s. The platform is reliable when serviced correctly. Most LA shops refuse Saeco service because parts margins are thin and Philips has narrowed the dealer network. We do the work because Saeco owners deserve service options.
Long-running office workhorse. Royal is mechanical-keyed; Royal OTC adds one-touch capability with integrated milk system. The most-installed Saeco in LA dental, accounting, and executive offices.
Mid-tier office machine. Removable brew unit (key Saeco serviceability advantage). Aulika EVO Top is the current variant with refined controls.
Mid-volume office machine, 200 cups/day capability. Bean-to-cup with milk system on OTC variant. Common in mid-size LA offices.
Premium home line under Philips ownership. SM7686 series. Touchscreen, integrated milk carafe, 15 specialty drinks. Cross-shopped with Jura E8 in price tier.
Older premium home generation. PicoBaristo is the smaller-footprint variant. Still in service across many LA homes.
Legacy. Many still running in LA homes and offices. Mechanically simpler than current; we service these with stocked legacy parts.
Saeco’s removable brew unit is the key advantage — owners can clean it themselves. When the unit itself fails (worn piston, drive lever wear), replacement is a 5-minute swap. The entire brew-unit assembly is a stocked part across Saeco models.
Same root cause as Jura — skipped daily milk-line rinse. Saeco circuits are slightly easier to deep-clean because of removable carafe design. Standard PM service.
Saeco uses thermoblock heaters in newer models, traditional boilers in older Royal. Hard-water LA installs without descaling reduce service life by 30-40%. Annual descale prevents.
Saeco ceramic burrs are durable but harder to source through Philips North American distribution than equivalent Jura parts. We sometimes wait 3-5 days for less-common burr sizes.
Saeco brew valve solenoids are reliable but the connector terminals corrode in humid environments. Symptom: intermittent fault on a single drink type. Clean and dielectric-grease the contacts; repair frequently sticks.
Touchscreen ribbon connectors on Xelsis and GranBaristo wear at 5-7 years. Most "broken touchscreen" calls are ribbon issues, not screen failures. Cleaning + reseating the ribbon resolves 60% of these.

Most Saeco calls come out of house kitchens and small offices, so the dispatch pattern follows the residential grid: Saeco repair in Ventura County, Saeco repair in Long Beach, Saeco repair in Beverly Hills, Saeco repair in Santa Monica, Saeco repair in Pasadena and Saeco repair in Silver Lake. Same technician, same rates everywhere on the grid — 25 cities across five counties, same-day when the schedule allows.
Recent job: 7-year-old Saeco Royal OTC at a Westwood dental office (~25 cups/day). Owner had been quoted $1,800 by a generalist appliance shop for "complete service — might need replacement." Diagnosed: brew unit needed replacement (worn piston seal, expected at this age), milk-circuit needed deep clean, boiler needed descale. Did all three. Total: 2.5 hours, $480 parts and labor. The office got another 4-5 years of service out of a machine the previous shop had effectively written off.
Saeco gets a bad reputation in LA because most shops will not fix them. The machines themselves are mechanically reasonable; the service-availability problem is a market failure, not a product failure. We picked up Saeco service deliberately because the demand was unmet. If your office or home Saeco has a problem, get a real diagnosis before you replace.
Tell us your Saeco model and what's wrong. We'll respond within the hour with a diagnostic estimate and ETA.
