SECTION 02 · WHY US

Four differentiators

01

Parts on the truck

Linea PB group seals, GB5 element gaskets, common solenoids. We do not source parts after the visit.

02

Same-day across LA

≤4hr average dispatch in LA county on weekdays. Saturday emergency surcharge applies after-hours.

03

Trained on legacy + current

Linea Classic pressurestat machines through KB90. We do not refuse old units.

04

PID retrofit experience

If your Linea Classic is hunting ±0.3 bar, we install Auber and La Marzocco PID kits. Twelve-plus years of PID retrofits — big quality jump.

La Marzocco is what most third-wave cafés in LA run, and it's what we work on most. Twelve-plus years servicing the platform across SoCal. We carry Linea group seals, GB5 boiler gaskets, and PID kits on the truck. Most jobs close in a single visit.

SECTION 04 · COMMON PROBLEMS

What goes wrong on a La Marzocco

  • P-01

    Group head gasket leak

EPDM rubber flattens after 18-36 months of heat cycles. Pressure drops 1.5-2 bar.

    $145-$220
  • P-02

    Steam wand pressure low

Usually scale in the steam tip or a worn solenoid. Less commonly the boiler element.

    $95-$280
  • P-03

    Boiler descale due

In hard-water LA neighborhoods (Santa Monica, Long Beach) we descale annually. Inland skips longer.

    $380-$550
  • P-04

    Control board fault

Usually a relay failure on the CPU board, sometimes a sensor short. Diagnostic first.

    $220-$680
  • P-05

    Pump replacement

Procon rotary pumps fail at 4-6 years. We carry the common 80GPH unit.

    $340-$420
  • P-06

    Solenoid stuck

Mineral deposit on the plunger. Usually rebuildable, sometimes replace.

    $140-$260
SECTION 04 · SERVICE TYPES

From emergency calls
to PM contracts.

S-01

Emergency Espresso Machine Repair

When your espresso machine goes down during morning rush, every hour of downtime is direct lost revenue. We dispatch same-day across LA, Orange County, Inland Empire, San Diego, and Ventura for commercial accounts — one phone call, one technician, one bill. The diagnostic visit credits toward the repair when work proceeds the same day.

S-02

Preventive Maintenance Contracts

A PM contract converts unpredictable repair costs into a predictable annual line item. Quarterly visits cover descaling, group-seal inspection, sprayhead cleaning, milk-system deep clean, software firmware checks, refrigerant-system inspection on hospitality equipment (EPA Section 608 Universal certified), and operator-side training refreshers. Twelve years of PM-contract work across SoCal hospitality, restaurant, and corporate accounts. We standardize the schedule across your fleet — one vendor, one parts inventory, one billing cycle.

S-03

Espresso Machine & Coffee Brewer Repair

We repair commercial espresso machines, coffee brewers, and prosumer machines across 28 brands. Twelve-plus years working on every brand in our catalog. Diagnostic-first pricing means we tell you what is wrong and what it costs before any parts are ordered or work begins. The diagnostic charge ($145) credits toward the repair when work proceeds.

S-04

Espresso Machine Installation

New machine installations require plumbing, electrical, drain routing, water-filter setup, and on-site commissioning. We do all of it. Most LA cafe installs complete in a single 4-8 hour visit if the cabinet, electrical panel, and water supply are ready. We coordinate with general contractors when build-out is in progress.

S-05

Water Filtration for Espresso

Water quality is the single biggest variable affecting espresso machine service life and cup quality — more than machine brand, more than barista skill, more than bean choice. We consult, install, and service water filtration to the Specialty Coffee Association brewing standard across SoCal.

S-06

Used Espresso Machine Refurbishment

A 6-year-old commercial espresso machine on the used market is often a better buy than a new mid-tier machine — if it has been maintained and the price reflects its actual condition. We do refurbishment and resale prep for sellers, buy-side inspection for purchasers, and full restoration for heritage machines. The diagnostic-first workflow protects buyers and sellers equally.

SECTION 07 · FAQ

Frequently asked.

Q-01 How much does La Marzocco repair cost?
Most single-issue visits run $145-$420 including labor. Boiler descale is $380-$550 depending on scale severity. Diagnostic visit alone is $145 and credits toward repair.
Q-02 Do you do same-day service?
Yes, in most of LA county on weekdays we dispatch within 4 hours. Saturday and after-hours add a surcharge unless you are on a Gold PM contract.
Q-03 Are you La Marzocco authorized?
We service La Marzocco machines on-site. We are not a La Marzocco-branded service center. We use genuine La Marzocco parts where the failure point demands it.
Q-04 Will you work on a Linea Classic from 2008?
Yes. Pre-PID Linea Classic is one of the most common units we see and one of our favorite upgrade jobs. PID retrofits run roughly $620-$780 installed.
Q-05 What if you can’t fix it on-site?
On the rare occasion we cannot complete the repair in one visit, we leave you with a written diagnosis, parts ETA, and a return appointment. We do not charge a second diagnostic fee.
Q-06 Do you sell new La Marzocco machines?
No. We are a service business, not a dealer. If you need a new unit we will tell you which dealer in LA we trust and why.
SECTION 08 · CASE STUDY · HONEST OPINION
Recent job

Recent job: 4-year-old Linea PB AV 3-group at a Silver Lake café, low pressure on group 2. Diagnosed worn group head gasket plus mineral buildup in the solenoid valve. Total: 2.5 hours on-site, $385 parts and labor, machine pulling shots same morning before the lunch rush.

Honest opinion

If your Linea Mini is past 6 years old and the heat exchanger is leaking, that is a replacement conversation, not a repair conversation. Parts cost approaches half of a new Linea Mini and the labor is 6+ hours.
